Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 28, 2026
SCA Transportation Forensics (“SCA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Who Ran The Red Light website. This Privacy Policy explains how information submitted through this website is collected, used, stored, and handled.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use this website, we may collect information you provide directly, including:
- Name
- Organization or law firm
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Preferred contact method
- General inquiry messages
- Collision date, time, location, city, and state
- Case background you provide
- Files you voluntarily upload with a case inquiry
- Technical and security information necessary to operate and protect the website (for example, information used to detect automated abuse of our forms)
We collect only the information described above, and only what is submitted or generated through your use of the website.
How Information Is Used
Information you submit may be used to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Evaluate a potential matter
- Communicate about records needed for our review
- Arrange how records will be provided
- Discuss engagement and retainer requirements
- Administer and manage a submitted matter
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website
- Detect abuse, fraud, or security threats
- Comply with applicable legal or records-management obligations
Case Inquiries and Engagement
Submitting a Contact SCA message or case inquiry through this website does not by itself establish an engagement with SCA or authorize SCA to begin technical analysis. SCA will contact you regarding the records needed for review, how records will be provided, and the retainer or engagement requirements applicable to your matter.
File Uploads
Uploading records through this website is optional. Please upload only records you are authorized to provide.
Attorneys or other users whose records are maintained through secure portals or other document-sharing systems may instead coordinate another method of access with SCA.
Uploaded files are stored in private cloud storage used by SCA for website intake. This storage is not publicly accessible. While SCA uses automated malware screening as part of its intake process, we cannot guarantee that every uploaded file is free of malicious content.
Cloudflare
SCA uses Cloudflare infrastructure to operate and protect this website. The application currently uses Cloudflare services for:
- Website and application hosting
- Database storage
- Private uploaded-file storage
- Security and abuse prevention
Uploaded records may be transferred from SCA’s cloud intake storage to SCA’s internal case-storage systems as part of SCA’s normal records workflow.
Turnstile
This website uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a security control that helps protect our forms against automated abuse. Turnstile evaluates signals about your browser and connection to confirm you are not an automated script; it does not read the content of your case narrative or uploaded documents.
Email Delivery (Resend)
SCA uses Resend, an email-delivery service, to send automated website communications, including inquiry and case receipts and internal submission notifications. Email addresses and other information necessary to deliver those messages may be processed by Resend for that purpose. Resend is not SCA’s general employee email provider — its role is limited to sending the automated messages this website generates.
Internal SCA Storage
Case information or records may be transferred into SCA’s internal case-management and storage environment when appropriate to the matter.
Retention
SCA retains website submissions, case information, and uploaded records for as long as reasonably necessary for intake, case administration, security, legal, operational, and records-management purposes. Uploaded records may be transferred to SCA’s internal storage systems, and cloud copies may later be removed according to SCA’s records-management procedures.
Sharing
SCA may provide information to service providers that process information on SCA’s behalf for website hosting, storage, security, and email delivery. SCA does not sell case inquiry information or uploaded case records for advertising purposes.
Security
SCA uses administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information submitted through this website. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, and SCA cannot promise that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by a breach of any of our physical, technical, or administrative safeguards.
Children
This website is intended for professional and business use and is not directed to children.
